Who am I?
Before landing in Bohemia - as a postdoc at FNSPE (FJFI), always at ČVUT - I was in Paris, France, doing an ATER at the Research Institut in Fundamental Informatic (IRIF), of the University Paris Diderot, in France (you may also remember it as "Paris 7"; last time I checked the name was "Université Paris-Cité").
Slightly before you could find me walking through the snowy streets of Montréal, Canada, or, when it was too cold outside, at UQÀM and McGill University.
Looking more into the past, I obtained a master degree and my PhD, both in Computer Science, at the University Paris-Est, in France (or at least that was the name at the time... now it should be University Gustave Eiffel).
In a different geological era I attended the University of Palermo, in Italy, where I obtained my master degree in mathematics (and enjoyed the Mediterrean Sea).
My main research interests are: combinatorics on words, formal languages, (variable-length) codes, automata and symbolic dynamical systems.
